Another evening of little hacking. The goal is to get rid of the fork() and implement POSIX threads. Not easy, because I of course want some extra stuff (a list of threads, and some control of them). For now, I am playing with a doubly linked list. The thing crashes Lees verder

oculusd 0.11

Oculusd 0.11 is out! You can download it here. I implemented the monitor thread, and plugins can now easily register functions to be called every N seconds. This is made as simple as possible, just like the commands in the plugins. Adding monitor threads in your plugin is as simple Lees verder

My N900

Well, if you can read this and see the brilliant photo, blogging from my N900 works. Kind of cool and very geeky as it runs Linux and my friends at LinuxJournal recommend it. I actually wanted to post a shot of the phone, showing the PDF reader with the latest Lees verder

Yay. After a few weeks of developing, the first technology preview of Odie (the Oculus Daemon InterfacE) is available. For now (mainly because it is late, time to go to bed soon) just a few screenshots and the start of the Oculus project page. Later, more will come. Of course, Lees verder

A new version is out. Check the project’s page for more details and downloads. This version implements the progress bars on the receiving side and also command line arguments, to quickly start the program. I mainly implemented these command line arguments for myself, so testing would go a little easier. Lees verder
